He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodson B. Taylor and Ida Holdbrooks Taylor; his wife Brenda Cherry Taylor; his daughter Judy Taylor; and his siblings, Bertha Paul, Katie Shepherd, Lucy Griffin, W. B. Taylor and David Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Trgovic (Peter) of Ennice, Cherry Taylor of Washington, Jimmy Taylor (Sherry) and Jeffery Taylor (Doris); his grandchildren, Rachel Roberson of Asheboro, Olivia Roberson, Nikolas Roberson of Raleigh and Parker Harris of Washington; his great grandchild Jaden Roberson of Ennice; his sister Mary Boyd of Mt. Airy; and his sister-in-law Margaret Ann Beddard (Mack) of Greenville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
