He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Ruth Setzer; his son-in-law Hassel Boyce; and his brother-in-law Thomas Absher. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Collins Wyatt; his daughters, Debbie Milligan (Andy) and Teresa Wyatt Boyce of Crumpler; his grandchildren, Andrea Byers (Anthony) of Wilkesboro, Amanda Burkett (Michael) of Jefferson, Jayson Milligan (Elizabeth) of Boone, Scotty Bare (Rosanna) of Wilkesboro and Julie Kilby (Colt) of Piney Creek; his siblings-in-law, Larry Setzer of Laurel Springs, Virginia Absher of Sparta and Linda C. Joines (Jack) of Sparta; and his mother-in-law Elsie E. Collins of Sparta. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
