She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brown, Sr. and Maggie Hale Brown; her husband Richard Rogers; and her siblings, Isabell Brown, Ida Cook, Stella Hale, James Brown, Jr., Dave Brown, Walter Brown, Robert Brown and Sam Brown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Barnett Funeral Home (325 Church St, Wytheville, VA 24382). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the New Hope Cemetery (159 Burkwood Dr, Wytheville, VA 24382).
