She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Van Dorn Martin and Elizabeth Bessie Alford Martin; her husband Oscar Turner; her grandson Eric Landon Washington; and her siblings, Odessa Adams, Rosa Bratcher, Paul Martin of Junior Martin, A. D and Leroy Martin.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Turner Deal (Wesley) of Oak Island, NC and Tommy Earl Turner (Elizabeth) of Loris, SC; her grandchildren, Amy Martyn Turner of North Augusta, SC and Connor W. Turner of North Augusta, SC; her great grandchild Landon Hayes Washington of Myrtle Beach, SC; her great great grandchild McKinnley Washington; and her sister Mary Cecil Sarvis of Florence, SC..
