He was predeceased by: his parents, Gill Mullins and Josephine Mullins; his brother Ray Mullins; his nephew Shawn Smallwood; and his niece Dawn Evans.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas F. Mullins, Jr. (Candra Mullins) of Badin, NC, Laurie A. Mullins of Southport, NC, Daniele N. Mullins of Southport, NC and Christina M. Mullen of Greensboro, NC.; his grandchildren, Lillith, Ginnah, Toby, Cairo, Nate, Bryan, Delia, Michelle and Ashlynn; his sisters, Gail Jenezsko of Clayton, Georgia of Jacksonville Fl, Kathleen Bryan of Jacksonville Fl and Joann Davenport of Jacksonville Fl; and his close friend Nibbler.
The family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to the National Cancer Society.
