He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Cooker and Ruth Varnam; and his son James Cooker. He is survived by: his sons, Steven Cooker (Tammy) of Sumter, SC and Samuel Gregory Cooker of Whiteville, NC; his grandchildren, Katie Cooker, Aaron Cooker and Cody Cooker; and his great grandchildren, Sadie Cooker, Jacob Lee and Miranda Lee.
