It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Margaret McKay (Southport, North Carolina), who passed away on January 18, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Derrick Claxton; and her sister Maureen Claxton. She is survived by: her close friend Tracy; her sons, Karl (Wendy Stilton) and Kraig Stilton; her siblings, Martin, Don, Bryan, Barry, Andy, Derrick, Tony Claxton and Joy Claxton; her granddaughters, Jessica, Amy and Kymmy Stilton; and her great grandchildren, Albie and Arlo Hickman.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, North Carolina and Virginia Region, P. O. Box 22443, NY, NY 10087-2443.
