It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelley Petersen Lesher (Southport, North Carolina), born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on January 18, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles C. Kirkpatrick and Lalla Kirkpatrick; and her sister Patty Woerner. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Christine Gavazzi and Paul Petersen; and her stepchildren, Steve Lesher and Mitzi Lesher-Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
