He is survived by: his daughter Jerri Lynn Ward; his granddaughters, Alyssa Ward and Miranda Ward; and his siblings, Charlie Ellis Ward, Omega Ward Harrison and Joyce Ward Caffee (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
