It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Mae Blackwell (Southport, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John McNeilly and Thelma McNeilly; her son Dennis Blackwell; and her siblings, Geraldine McClellan and David McNeilly.
She is survived by: her child Church; her husband Robert Roy Blackwell; her daughter Diane Blackwell of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Mike, Shaun and Jen; her great grandchildren, Kate and Anastasia; her brother Gordon McNeilly; and her daughter-in-law Carla White.
