It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline Smith Swain of Southport, North Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Smith and H. D. Smith. She is survived by: her husband John Julius Swain; her son John Alan Swain; her grandson Jerad Wilson Swain; her son Jerry Wilson Swain (Elisabeth); her daughter-in-law Marilyn Swain; her granddaughter Caitlin Mae Williams (Jay); and her great grandchild Ellie Mae Williams.
