It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul David Boone MD of Southport, North Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Jefferson Boone and Lillie Leila Hollifield Boone. He is survived by: his wife Carole M. Boone; his daughters, Jennifer Wingo and Beth Boone Mittendorf; his granddaughters, Kristy Lowery (Roger) and Katy Self (Russell); and his pet KoKo. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
