He is survived by: his wife Elaine Lanz; his children, Scott (Cindy) and Stacee (Tarkan); his granddaughter Sheena; his sister-in-law Barbara Rabinowitz (Peter); and also Gary (Mia).

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Adopt an Angel Animal Rescue in Wilmington, NC.
