It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Anne Poe (Southport, North Carolina), born in Aurora, Nebraska, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Shaneyfelt and Peggy Shaneyfelt; her brothers, Dick and Roger Shaneyfelt; and her husband Gene Poe.
She is survived by: her sister Sue Zaruba of Omaha, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Mary Miller of Omaha. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, their spouses, and her great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to either Matthew's Ministry in Southport or to Disabled American Veterans.
