She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Johns and Mary Ellen Johns. She is survived by: her siblings, Michael (April), Stephen, Cynthia and Richard (Debra); her sons, Charlie (Alexandra) and Christopher (Sarah); and her grandchildren, Londyn, Sophia, Blayke, Elle and Leo. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations, to honor Lynda, go to the SECU Family House, 123 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27517.
