Larry Richard Ratliffe Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, at the age of 81, Larry Richard Ratliffe of Southport, North Carolina, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Slatton Ratliffe; his parents, Raymond James and Olean York Ratliffe; and his son-in-law Michael Mulligan. He is survived by: his children, Karen Ratliffe (James Burney, Jr.), Kristen Mulligan and Richard Ratliffe (Cara); his brother Jim Ratliffe (Alice); his sisters-in-law, Wanda Kohlman (Tim) and Judith Marler (Edwin); and his grandchildren, Kyle Mulligan (Liz), Bradley Mulligan, Mary Ratliffe, Matthew Mulligan, Sophia Ratliffe, Christopher Mulligan and James "Tripp" Burney III. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in his honor to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or your local public library.
