He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilbert Moore, Sr. (Sonny) and Addie Swain Moore; his siblings, Flora Alice Moore and John Gilbert Moore, Jr.; his mother-in-law Kathy Jo Battles; and his brother-in-law Travis Luis Ravelo.
He is survived by: his wife Chilaya Moore; his children, Kibarake Vondrak (KB) and Mahaliyah Andrews; his siblings, Jo Karen Moore (Steve) of Los Alamos, Martha Moore Cobbs of Shallotte, NC, Robert Wesly Moore of Leland, NC and David Leroy Moore II (Bonita) of Wilmington, NC; his aunt Mary Torres of New Jersey; his uncle Ulysses Slade (Jackie) of Wilmington, NC; and his sister-in-law Natawsha Vondrak of Wilmington, NC.. He is also survived by his nine nieces, eleven nephews, six great-nieces and six great-nephews.
