He is survived by: his wife Trudy McNeil Young; his son Joseph Manning Young (Heather) of Poulsbo, Washington; his stepchildren, Erik Hufham (Missy), Katherine Hufham and Marie Hufham Hughes (Curtis) of Southport; his grandchildren, Jackson Young of Poulsbo, Washington, Grant Hufham of Greenville and Ashley Hufham of Spring Lake; his niece Fran White of Southport; and his great-nephews, Garrett Swain and Bryan Swain of Southport.
