He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Hines of Southport, NC and Sara Hines of Fayetteville, NC; his siblings, Luther Owens of Aberdeen, Craig Hines of Kerens, TX and Anna Catherine Smith Kurts of Missouri; his grandchildren, Michel Malick, Michelle, Mikayla, Mylea, Xavier, Matthew and Mauricia; and his great grandchildren, Aurora, Jayden, Heavenly and Amira. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
