It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Floyd Jr. (Southport, North Carolina), who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son James Carlisle; and his sisters, Sally Spivey, Sylvia Brown and Myrtle "Boots" Potter. He is survived by: his cousin Jerry Floyd of Southport. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.
