He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby McLendon Thomas and Leon Thomas; and his siblings, Richard Thomas and Jackie Thomas Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Frances Cate Thomas; his children, Jenny Snow (Derick) of Tifton, Georgia and Chuck Thomas (Maggie) of Marietta, Georgia; his brother Edward Thomas (Debra) of Statesville, NC; and his grandchildren, Hunter Scarborough (Alyssa), Andrew Scarborough (Jayma), Tyler Snow and Mayson Thomas. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
