We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2021 we had to say goodbye to John E. Jacobsen of Southport, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tonnes Berge Jacobsen and Solveigh Paulsen Jacobsen; his wife Jean Hansen Jacobsen; and his son Paul Edward Jacobsen. He is survived by: his children, Alice Jacobsen and Peter Jacobsen; his daughter-in-law Christina Jacobsen; his grandsons, Erik Jacobsen and Luke Jacobsen; and his sister Sonja Jacobsen Swanson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 209 E Nash Street, Southport, NC.
