He was predeceased by: his parents, Tonnes Berge Jacobsen and Solveigh Paulsen Jacobsen; his wife Jean Hansen Jacobsen; and his son Paul Edward Jacobsen. He is survived by: his children, Alice Jacobsen and Peter Jacobsen; his daughter-in-law Christina Jacobsen; his grandsons, Erik Jacobsen and Luke Jacobsen; and his sister Sonja Jacobsen Swanson.
