With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John David Karahuta of Southport, North Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Karahuta and Marguerite Moresi Karahuta. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Stegner Karahuta; his sister Pat Geyer; his nephews, Scott and Kevin Geyer; and his cousins, Marilyn Stegner, Donald Stegner and Rosemary Zezulinski.
