She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Apple and Tyvola Apple of Burlington, NC; and her brother Larry Apple. She is survived by: her husband Clyde Everett Helms; her children, Donna Overman (Tony) of Southport and Darrell Helms (Julie) of Leland; her brother Wayne Apple of Burlington, NC; her grandchildren, Chad Dillahay (Natalia) of Supply, Joey Helms (Alicia), Brandon Helms (Alison) of Shallotte, Jessica Wood (David) of Southport, Will Helms, Ashley Helms of Leland and Lee Hill of Charlotte; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Emily Wood, Lane, Dalton Dillahay, Caden and Eli Helms.
