He is survived by: his wife Catherine Kelley Thompson; and his children, Harold Thompson, Jr., Mark Thompson (Elaine), David Thompson (Patricia), Michael Thompson (Linda), Christopher Thompson (Karen) and Kathleen Thompson. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
