She was predeceased by: her father Seibert "Happy" Asbury. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Elswick; her children, Donna Yalch (Joe) of Southport and James Elswick (Amy) of Orlando, Florida; and her grandchildren, Chloe, Adam, Brandon and Megan.

In lieu of flowers, Glenda's family requests that donations be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare - Brunswick Care Center at 955 Mercy Ln.
