He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Kuhns and Millicent Weaver Kuhns; his daughter Terri Lynn Daugherty; his son-in-law Donald Daugherty; his sister Catherine Wildey (Cassie); and his great grandchild Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lee Kuhns; his daughter Sherrie Lee Braidic; his son-in-law Edward Braidic of Southport; his granddaughters, Julie Fisher and Lyndsey Mandley; and his great grandchildren, Everett, Maddex, Mason, Stella and Willow. He is also survived by four nephews and one niece.
