It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Barbee in Southport, North Carolina, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Burris and Sophia Burris. She is survived by: her husband Lonnie Vann Barbee; her children, Johnny Vann Barbee, Pamela Biffle (Jerry Biffle) and Deanna Chenault; and her grandchildren, Alex Overcash (Ardra Overcash), Eric Chenault and Heather Hughes (Dennis Hughes).
