She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Rees and Recie Lee Rees; her brother Sam Rees, Jr.; her niece Dianne R. Carroll; and her nephew Allen Rees.

She is survived by: her niece Susan R. Bolduc (Johnny); her nephew Tommy Rees (Mandy); her cousin Robert D. Howard (B. J. Gorman); and her caregivers, April Jennings, Shannon Stevens and TerraBella. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Eleanor's name, to BrightFocus Foundation, Gentiva Hospice, Southport Baptist Church Missions Committee.
