She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Parks and Caddie Parks; and her siblings, Doris Jernigan, Sammy Parks and Alton Parks.
She is survived by: her spouse Johnnie Coggins; her children, Jean Boseman, Ann Bryant, Samuel Coggins and Faye Coggins; and her brothers, Lloyd Parks and Wilbard Parks. She is also survived by her children; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
