He was predeceased by: his grandson Jared Mitchell; and his siblings, Thomas Mitchell and Sharon Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Marilee Mitchell; his children, Edison Kent Mitchell, Jr. (Amy), Kevin Mitchell (Elaine), Kimberly Mitchell Nameth (Ernest), Keith Mitchell (Jessica) and Kortney Mitchell (Kelly); and his siblings, Raymond Mitchell and Carolyn Postlethwaite. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
