She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Tidd and Dorothy Tidd; her sisters, Beryl and Jan; and her sons, Lee and Roy Strickland.
She is survived by: her husband William Robert Strickland; her children, Donna Gagnon (Robert) of Southport, NC, Emma Scoggins (Simon) of O'Fallon, IL and Pete Strickland of Goldsboro, NC; her stepdaughter Lynn Worley (Wayne) of Princeton, NC; and her sister Anne Jones of England. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
