He is survived by: his wife Ann Taylor Stephenson; his daughter Paula S. Talley (Monty) of Belville, NC; his grandson Stephen Talley of Wilmington, NC; his nephew Frankie Taylor of Selma, NC; and his sister-in-law Joan Stephenson (Edward Carter Stephenson) of Waterville, NY..

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Crocker Cemetery (1945 Pine Level Selma Rd, Selma, NC 27576).
