It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Earl Pearsall of Southport, North Carolina, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Durwood and Janet Rose Massengill Pearsall; his son Leo Carroll; and his sister Debra Pearsall. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Koontz; his children, David Earl Pearsall, Jr. (Danielle), Meagan Pearsall (Connor Jacobs), Erik Pearsall, Chris Carroll (Laketa), Kim Carroll and Amos Carroll; and his sister Kay Pearsall Zimmerman (Robert). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
