It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Miller (Southport, North Carolina), born in Caldwell, Idaho, who passed away on December 28, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Kevin Miller (Terri Wood) of California, John Miller of Georgia and Lori Ann Synkelma of Oregon; and her friends, Tom, Kelly Hardwick of Southport and Maggie. She was also cherished by three sisters; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
Because of Darlene's love of animals, it was her wish that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Southport Oak Island Animal Rescue (SOAR), 3376 St. Charles Place SE, Southport, North Carolina 28461.
