With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine T. Cook of Southport, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Christine's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Christine's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony DiFruscio and Lucy DiFruscio. She is survived by: her children, Christine Schrode (Edward) and Anthony Cook (Maureen); and her grandchildren, Michael Gaudino, Brittney Gaudino, Abby Cook, Janet Cook and Deane Cook. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (5269 Dosher Cutoff SE, Southport, NC 28461). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
