It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline Anna Aweeky of Southport, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Brandes and Marie Brandes. She is survived by: her husband Anthony Aweeky; her children, Peter Aweeky (Margaret), Paul Aweeky (Cynthia) and Liz Callaghan (Mike); her grandchildren, Paul Jr., Michele, Alex, Andrew, Olivia, Emily, Kate and Conor; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Ignacy.
