She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Nash Clifton and Margaret Irons Schutz Clifton. She is survived by: her husband Raymond D. Rood; her daughters, Lorraine McAuley (Joseph) of Hardeeville, SC and Carol Snyde of Southport, NC; and her grandchildren, Ryan McAuley and Michael McAuley. She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews and a special pet "Bentley"; she cherished her special friends.
