He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mae Selby Irvin and Charles Leonard Irvin Sr.; and his sisters, Linda Marie Irvin and Amelia Irvin. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Barlock Irvin; his siblings, Quentin Irvin, Alphonse Irvin, Dr. Anthony Irvin, William O. Irvin and Renee Irvin; his sons, Gabriel Atchison and Jordan Dykes; and his sister Edythe Davis. He is also survived by many cousins and extended family.
