He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Miller and Cora Lee Miller; and his siblings, Nolan Miller, Bobby Miller, Willa Jean Carpenter and Frances Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Simmons Miller; his sons, Basil Todd Miller (Debra Whaley Miller) and Johnathan Miller; his grandchildren, Shelby Miller, Addison Miller, Hadley Miller and Presley Miller; his siblings, Thomas Miller (Reba), Margaret Evans and Mary Spicer; and his brother-in-law John Carpenter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his niece, Dawn Spicer Ford, as she battles cancer.
