She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross James and Ruby Hicks Helton; her husband Howard Leander Rhyne, Jr.; her sister Sharon Helton; her nieces, Lisa and Lynn; and her nephew Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Howard "Howie" L. Rhyne, III (Alison) of Brookville, FL and Leann Pollock (Russell) of Southport, NC; her sister Jackie Craig (Richard) of Gastonia, NC; her grandchildren, Trey, Natalie, Brandon, Hap Perry, Spencer Rhyne (Shannon), Nick and Mulloy Manning; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Nolan, Zanna, Charli, Crawford and Blair; and her nieces and nephews, Cathey, Alice, Gary, Blair and David.
Barbara would often say "charity starts at home," so in lieu of flowers, please dedicate your time and treasure there.
