She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melton and Lucy Melton; and her brother Rodney Melton, Sr. (Cathy). She is survived by: her husband Earl Clewis; her children, Amy VanDyne and Michael Clewis (Beth); her grandchildren, Caison Clewis Clemmons (Caleb), Carly Clewis and Wyatt Clewis; her great grandchild Carter Clemmons; her siblings, John Melton (Linda) and Dianne Melton Ristow (Rick); and her close friend Brenda Crisco.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (209 E Nash St, Southport, NC 28461).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422.
