She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Bennett and Mary Bennett; her former husband Jimmy Prevatte; her sister Ruby Jean Gill; and her husband Fred Brown.

She is survived by: her daughter Donna Maynor (Kenneth) of Southport; her grandchildren, Chris Maynor (Samantha) and Karen Miller (Brian); and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Drew, Peyton, Katie, Shayne and Anna Claire.
