He was predeceased by: his brothers, William Bud Sovak and Roger Pete (Beverly); and his parents, Michael Sovak and Ann Sovak. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine; his daughters, Stefanie (John) and Tracey (Kevin); his grandchildren, Michael, Catie and Nora; his brother Michael; and his sister-in-law Cecilia.

Donations to Hospice of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare or Knights of Columbus Sacred Heart Council #12537 of Southport Pro-life Committee can be made in lieu of flowers.
