She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Poplin and Betty Elizabeth Liles Poplin; her husband Calvin Nevil "Dooger" McCormick; her granddaughter Susan Morris; her great grandchild Noah Clarke; and her siblings, James Everette Poplin and Claude Thomas Poplin.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Litke (Rudy) of Southport, NC, Jimmy McCormick (Bonnie) of Lilesville, NC, Carolyn Morris (H. C.) of Cheraw, SC, Billy McCormick (Brenda) of Lilesville, Joey McCormick (Janet) of Peachland, NC, Patty McCormick and Tommy Tadlock. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
