We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2020, at the age of 95, Alberta Gunter (Southport, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lassiter and Maude Lassiter; her husband Jake Gunter; her sons, Larry Gunter and Darrell Gunter; her grandchild Stacey Hart; and her siblings, Nannie Lassiter, Allie Blake, Myrtie Elkins, Ollie Chrisco, Harold Lassiter, Floyd Lassiter, Leonard Lassiter and Arthur "Bug" Lassiter.
She is survived by: her sister Ruth Fields of Siler City; her granddaughters, Stephanie Gunter Bodmer (Robert Gosnell), Tiffany Gunter and Ginger Gunter Thomas (Brad); her great grandchildren, Laurel Holmes, Nicholas Johnson and Sarah Evans (Bryan); and her great great grandchild Ruby Evans.
