He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Harold" Eckersley and Phyllis Ann Wilson McNeille; his grandparents, Raymond and Lucille Wilson; and his uncles, Jerry Wilson and Raymond Wilson Jr..
He is survived by: his sisters, Sandra Evans and Diane Logan of Winston-Salem; his stepbrother David Duffer; his uncle Gene Wilson of Pinebluff; his aunts, Sandra Wilson of Aberdeen and Lela Tew (Miles) of Raleigh; and his cousin Michael Wilson (Alison) of West End. He is also survived by family members, beloved nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (1105 Morganton Rd, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans or the Moore County Humane Society.
