We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2023, at the age of 67, Susan Shugart Owens of Southern Pines, North Carolina, born in Chester, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Henry Lester; her nephew Jason Shugart; and also Terry Lee Owens. She is survived by: her brothers, Les Shugart (Debbie) and Steve Shugart (Sue); her brother-in-law Tony Owens; and her nieces and nephews, Leslie Willis (Jason), Shannon Farr (Matt), Ginny Lynn Brown (Kevin), Anna Grace Willimon (Taylor), Jonathan Shugart (Casey), Will Shugart (Natalie) and Grant Shugart (Jenny). She is also survived by 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
