We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2018, at the age of 68, Peter Lang Pottle (Southern Pines, North Carolina), born in Pinehurst, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis Pottle and Erma Fisher Pottle. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hartnett Pottle; and his children, William Lang Pottle, Anna Bair Pottle and Jennifer Pottle Curtis (Matt).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church (350 East Massachusetts Avenue, Southern Pines, NC 28387) or the Sandhills Moore Coalition for Human Care (1500 W Indiana Avenue, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
