She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Machado and Amelia Farias; her son William Byrne; her sisters, Bernadette Botelho, Beverley McCarthy and Theresa Binnette; and her brother-in-law Donald Dootson.
She is survived by: her husband James Byrne; her sons, David and James; her siblings, Robert Machado (Shirley), Susan Dootson, Rosemary Machado and Claudett Cooper (Tom); and her brothers-in-law, Stanley Botelho, Chris McCarthy and Paul Binnette.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 9:30 AM and at 9:30 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (160 E Vermont Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387).
